Overall this is probably one of the better, less in yer face, impy stouts Iโ€™ve had. So many times impy stouts want to bowl you over but, this is just out to give you a positive impression. Decent brew from the start. Big & black. Looks like itโ€™s large and in charge. Sweeter mild chocolate aroma. Black coffee taste fer sure from the start. This is followed by a bitter dark chocolate flavor that is not like the typical smack you alky feel, a little better than that. Itโ€™s not astringent and its fresh. Yes, a milder impression for such a heavy duty alky content. Decent co2 continues and makes this brew acceptable. Quite drink-able in the end. Over all, a not bad impy stout and I very much dislike impy stouts.
