Very dark. Has a very sweet candy nose. First taste is sweet figs. Warms as the session continues, however, it never burns like the near 10% stated. Well behaved and I’m quite surprised how well this goes down. Never cloying like so many other high alky sweet beers. Bourbon effects are muted by the figs. You better be careful with this pone, its quite a quite powerful wolf-like beer hiding behind some fig flavored sheep clothing.
