Listed as a lager. OK, so it is a california (lower case) common. On tap @ patricks pub. Darker than most lagers. Sweet nose. First taste is a little bit of Pittsburgh slag. Then i think i feel some odd spice in there as well. In the end, hard to say this is a lager, heheh.

Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a dark caramel color with a medium sized foamy off white head that left good lacing. The aroma was bitter with fruity hops, cleaning solution and cedar. The flavor was bitter with notes of perfume, cleaning solution, cedar and faint notes of cactus and citrus. Medium length finish. Medium body. Not good.
