Such an appropriate name. A very nice looking stout, looks great! Some slight aroma of caramel, sweet nose. Flat and very friendly in the stout arena, I like this. Many of the brews here at Bloom have been very good tasting. So yummy is this. Just like friendly stout should be. Even tho its almost flat, it still comes across as satisfying. Even tho I think this should be plain old stout, as a dry stout, its a very good stout right up there with other dry stouts like East End Session #17 Dry Stout, Mountaineer Stout, Short’s Uncle Steve’s Irish Stout, Brooklyn Dry Stout, Rust Belt Coke Oven Stout, n Saranac Irish Stout

Sampled on draft at the brewery this beer poured a black color with a huge creamy brown head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was bitter, roasty and had a coffee presence. The flavor was bitter and roasty with coffee, vanilla, a hint of chocolate, wood and a touch of port wine. Long finish. Moderately full bodied. Ok.
