Nice looking 0.341 l bottle bought at Grüne Woche 2015, Berlin. Clear copper in the glass, short living one finger head. Malt and hop on the nose. Starts malt and bitter, thought it was more than the declared 39 IBU. Later everything on a lower level and black tea with citrus. Little bit english style.

341ml bottle. Crystal clear, dark amber colour with small, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Monotonous, integrated, unspecific, sweet-malty-fruity aroma under almost smoky, earthy herbal headline. Taste is equally monotonous, bitter herbal, earthy, minimally sweet caramel malty. Like all ingredients bereft of personality.

(bottle, 34.1cl) Clear, amber colour with a beige medium-sized foamy head. Mildly citrus-fruity hoppy aroma with delicately biscuity cara-malt. Moderately bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with an almost crisp carbonation. Slightly toasted British malt character with mildly fruity and delicately woody hops; dry-ish and quite rounded malty and hoppy finish. Likeable. 27.X.14

Bottle. A clear, glowing golden colored beer topped by a small, dense, off-white head. Grassy, piney hops with some citrus, as well as pale malts in the aroma. Some cheesy hints. It’s medium to full bodied, with some caramel malty sweetness and a faint spiced touch. Full body, soft carbonation. Decent bitterness towards the finish. A quite decent one, but a bit gentle and cheesy. 141025
