Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Clear golden with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and light hoppy - citrus. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. 251014

Bottle. Amber with small head. Substantial malt base with a lot of caramel malt. Light hops.

A golden amber ale with a thick frothy mocha head, lacing and nice. In aroma, smooth caramel malt with light British floral hops, OK. In mouth, a decent ale with light caramel malt, faint foral hops, a bit thin, but overall, decent. Can from LCBO.

Can: Poured a light clear amber color ale with a large foamy head with large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of light caramelized malt notes with some light dry hoppy notes that are clearly noticeable. Taste is a nice balanced mix between some caramelized malt with good attenuation and some light dry and bitter hoppy notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. I must admit to being surprise as this beer as more flavour then I had expected considering who the brewer is.

Can from the LCBO. Pours a very clear amber orange with a generous off white head that clings to the glass. Nose is pine and grains. Some malt bitterness but predominantly sweet vanilla and toffee malts in the front. Relatively short bitter citrus finish. Medium oily body with average carbonation. Decent but not outstanding until you consider who it is brewed by. Definitely superior to any other Moosehead product.

Moosehead’s version of a beer attacking the micro market. Clean amber, foamy warm cap, good retention and lots of soapy lace. Quite malty smelling with some caramel, fruity notes and a decent amount of grassy hops. The taste starts sweet with the caramel malts, but dies down quickly heading into a hoppy dry finish. Overall, not as hoppy as expected as they list a book of hops used in this one, on their box info. It does follow the description nicely and is much better than most Moosehead beer. They do not either shy away from showing that this is one of their products.
