Amber golden in colour with a good head retention. Light on the nose. Palate is malt forward with a creamy mouthfeel and very effervescent. A light spicy finish.

Can from Yamaoka. Nose is rich caramel malt, dark bread, raisin, herbal, piny hops, a touch of dried cherries. Deep reddish brown color with a low head. Dry and very toasty, caramel, dark chocolate, rye bread, slightly roasty too. Pine, light citrus. Quite roasty for the style. More an amber ale. Not bad.
