Bottle 330ml. @ home. [ As Brekeriet BP1 ].Clear dark red brown color with a huge, frothy, good lacing, fully lasting, light brown head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, berry, leather - brett, wood, light chocolate. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet, light acidic and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, dark dark roasted, ash, wood, tart, roasted bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is fizzy. [20141124]

Bottle 33 cl. Pours an opaque black with a frothy and very dense light brown head with excellent retention. Sweet vanillaish roast with only the slightest hint of funk. Medium body, lovely, pleasant roast, thick and friendly. Some late coffee accents. No Brett notes to speak of really. 120713

Flaska från Mikkeller&Friends. Kolsvart, högt mörkbeiget skum. Hårdrostade aromer av svartbröd, mörk torkad frukt, soja och lakrits. Syrlig smak som döljer en del av sötman som finns där, lätt beska och rejält rostade smaker av lakrits, kakao och soja men trots det en lätthet i anslaget som gör den drickvänlig trots sina stora smaker. Riktigt fin!

Bottle. Pours a dark brown black color with a longlasting tan head. Has a roasted malty bretty chocolate and caramel aroma. Roasted malty caramel flavor with weak bretty hints. Has a roasted malty bretty caramel finish.

Bottled. A black beer with a lazing dark brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, alcohol, and soy sauce. The flavor is sweet with notes of iodine, roasted malt, wood, chocolate, leading to a dry roasted finish. The body is light.

Smak och doft av humle, malt, choklad, kaffe med toner av frukt, aska, saltlaktris och läder. En aning fadd, stor syrlighet, brända toner med en tydlig och lång efterbeska av bitter choklad.

Sample at Malmö Öl & Whiskyfestival April 2013. Black with a small tan head. Aroma of coffee, dark chocolate, light roasted malt and some grass. Similar taste with a roasted and bitter finish. Some light notes of brett in this one.
