A clear burgundy red ale with a thin light rosey head. In aroma, sweet fruity cherry, light lactic notes, Brett, horseblanket, Epsom salts, very nice and complex. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity mix of tart cherries, lactic acid, Epsom salts, light horseblanket, cherry certs, very nice. On tap at The Farmhouse, btv.

Had at Snallygaster. Poured a very slightly red color, looks like red juice. Small off-white head. Aroma was cherry skins in vanilla. This is actually quite nice really good.

Bottle generously shared by Pedro. Pain in the ass to open, what with the cap and then the cork and all, so bring your toolbox. Pours a deep ruby color with minimal head (but lots of fizzy carbonation at first.) Aromas are initially VERY off-putting: cherry and vomit (?!) As it airs and warms the vomit seems to dissipate and takes on an oak smell. Flavor is very nice, especially after the disappointment on the nose end. Not very tart, but a nice cherry flavor that kind of fills the palate and has a bit of barrel.
