Draft 6 oz pour, enjoyed at De Garde. Made it through the whole imperial flight! 6 oz of delicious beer, the effort wasn't really needed to be put in. Bright cherry red pour. Slight pink tinted fizz head. Tons of cherry pie flavor. Love it. The cherry flavor seems a little more unique than that of other krieks I've had. The oak is pretty covered up in this one. A little in the sweet side. Lots of good going on here.

Poured from a 750 ml bottle. Aroma is fairly fruit forward with some moderate cherry notes and light tannins and skin notes. Light earthy and herbal notes with hints of citrus. Light oak notes and a bit of barnyard funk. Pours a somewhat clear, dark pink color with a medium large, moderately thick, pink head that recedes somewhat quickly to a thin film that lingers on the edges. No lacing or legs. Flavor has a medium acidity and light sweetness with hints of grain. Moderate cherry notes with some lighter skin and tannin notes. Light earthy and herbal notes with a bit of barnyard funk and lemon. Light oak as well. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with high carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a really nice beer. Lots of great cherry notes and quite a bit of funk.
