(Tap)(nitro) clear, bright, very dark brown color with a small brown head; aroma of milk chocolate, jam, smooth palate; balanced flavor with a long, light bitter finish

Sample at the brewpub. Brown-black color with a medium tan head that recedes gradually to a dense film. Patchy lacing on the glass. Roast malt, chocolate and coffee aroma. Light-bodied with flavors of chocolate malt, coffee and slight hops. The finish is sweet with a chocolatey and slightly metallic aftertaste. Decent overall.
