On tap at Vice, pours dark brown/black with a small beige beah. Aroma has some hearty oats and a touch of dry cocoa powder. Flavour is somewhat metallic, with light oats, stale cocoa powder, and some bready malt. Can’t shake off the slightly stale character. Light-bodied and weak. Not great.

On tap at Vice Beer. Pours nearly black with a beige head. Oatmeal, gentle roast, and some brown sugar on the nose. Flavour has brown bread malts, oatmeal, some dry brown sugar. Solid oatmeal stout.

16 ounce can from Tavour. Jet black pour. Frothy tan head. Mild roasted malt aroma. Flavor is dark malt and roast. Some bittersweet chocolate. Soft mouthfeel from the oats. Astringent, bitter notes in middle. Dry, dusty finish.

Aromas are mainly dark malt and toast with a hint of toffee. Flavors are similar to nose. Excellent balance between bitter, sweet and slightly soft carbonation. Likewise excellent body and mouth. Very nice and drinkable beer. Could go for more.
