Tap at Little Beer Room soft opening before flight to Verna and Tino's wedding. Translucent orange-amber. Lots of lacing, sticky head. Aroma is perfumed hops - herbal lavender? Taste follows - big herbal hops and tea/lavender. Weird. Not bad. Smooth palate. Booze and malt good. Weird but not bad. Wouldn't get again.

Big bomber bottle. Pours amber, quite decent foam head, even a bit too foamy actually. Aroma is resinous, definitely full of hops and something pine-like. Taste is also dominated by citric bitterness, really resinous, feels like eating spruce branches - delicious ones. Interesting and well made.

Golden amber color. The nose is super alive with lemongrass and kafir in the nose. The mouth is light slightly bitter and tart, with lots of kafir. The spices meld well with the hops. Really nice.

650 ml bottle @ Øltorget, Vulkan May 2014. Light foggy, almost clear orange golden body with a nice, foamy, long lasting off-white head. A bit mild, but delicious aroma of fruit including grapefruit and lime with malt and spices. Flavor is refreshing and amazingly balanced with medium sweet malt, citric fruit, lemon, citric zest, spices and pleasant bitterness. Medium body and pleasant fruity bitter aftertaste. Very nice.

From a 650ml bottle on 26/1/2015. Pours a slightly cloudy golden with a small head. Has a gorgeous floral, fruity nose with some definite west coast IPA elements to it. Take a sip and it’s clear you’re dealing with something special. There’s oodles of lovely tropical, stone and citrus fruit sweetness (mango, peach, apricot and mandarin), along with the promised kaffir lime leaves, and a big, firm grapefruity hop bitterness. Tha palate is exquisite - silky and syrupy, with the modest carbonation spot on in the circumstances. This is seriously one on the best pale ales you’ll ever try. Super complex and moreish, it actually manages to leave many IPAs in the shade in terms of flavour, balance and character. A truly sensational brew.

(Bottle) Clear golden amber with good white head. Nice crisp citrusy aroma - grapefruit with pine notes and some sweeter floral or stone fruit hints. Medium body with good carbonation. Taste has lovely fresh citrus start and quickly develops hoppy bitterness that grows into a a sustained decently bitter finish. There are some biscuity malty undertones from the mid palate. A very decent pale ale.

Flaske 650ml delt med Rune og naboen på Nerstranda 4 Nov 11. Aprikosfarget. Uklar. Lavt skum. Aroma av dorens (ment positivt). Smaken er lavendel. Blir veldig ensformig.

650ml bottle, 7.5 % abv, bought at Vinmonopolet Vika. Shared with Finn and the neighbours next door. Slightly hazy, orange-gold coloued body. Stable off-white head. Fragile lacing. Herbal hops to the nose, rather perfumed. Taste of lavender and citrus laced with malty sweetness. Soft in the mouth. Unvaried. Drinkable, not a great one in my book (Tromsø 04.11.2014).
