Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7

On tap at The Beer Junction, pours a dirty dark brown / near-black with a small beige head. Aroma has soft cocoa, not much beyond that. Flavour is much more forceful, with plenty of cocoa upfront, dark malts, and a touch of residual sugars. Gently chocolatey finish. Quite solid.

(bottle) clear, bright, dark brown colour with a medium tall brown head; aroma of cocoa, roast; smooth palate; rich, balanced flavour with a long, light bitter finish, very nice

Black body with off white head. Pleasant malt and roast aroma. Malty taste with some chocolate and some hop bits.
