The December 2021 batch was pulled from a long slumber in oak before conditioning on whole coffee beans -- and the results are malty, fruity, sour, and coffee spiked!
We're deeming it the official box crossing, bird stoning beverage of winter.

Bottle from the brewery. Black pour, with shades of dark mahogany, and a small beige head. Dark fruit, dark, woody, oaky bread, plums and figs, and dark roasted coffee. Soft carb, very full mouth feel. Sour finish, funky and tart, with a blast of coffee mixed in with your funky, sour fruity bready. Pretty weird stuff.

(Bottle) clear, bright, very dark brown colour with a small brown head; aroma of soy sauce, wet wood, hint of caramel, coffee; dryish, intense flavour with a lively, light tart and bitter finish
