Hagoromo 羽衣 (meaning “Wing Robe”) is our bright and uncompromising summer lagerbier, brewed the Munchner way. German noble hops and pilsner malt provide ample notes of freshly-baked bread loaf and grass. The finish is crisp and clean, thanks in part to a patient and extended cold maturation. This lagerbier was designed with the biergarten in mind.

On tap at Godspeed, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma has very gentle herbal notes, straw, and crisp crackery malt. Flavour is likewise laid-back, with with biscuity malt and gentle herbaceous notes. Needs more hops but it’s clean and drinkable. Fine.

Can from the brewery. Clear golden pour, medium white head. Good malts, mealy cereals, slightly fruit cereals, green apple and some pear. Mouth feel is good, carb is soft. Low bitterness, mineral, wet paper finish, with light veggies.

(can) clear, bright, pale yellow colour with a medium tall cream colored head; aroma of jam; balanced flavour with a long, light bitter finish
