Backlog June 2017. Unclear, dark reddish brown body under a small beige head. Aroma has malt, toffee and some brown sugar. Taste is sweet and malty, caramel, dry fruit and a nice touch of oxidation. Fine body and sweet, malty aftertaste. Decent.

330 ml bottle, from Erling Christen Møbler, Sindal. ABV is 9.5%. Very dark brown colour, nearly black. Moderate to small beige head. Strong aroma of brown kandij sugar, caramel, Belgian ale yeast, malts and mild spices. The medium sweet flavour has the same elements as the aroma, also notes of alcohol. Moderate hops.

Bottle. A dense, dark beige head of moderate size site on top of a clear looking chestnut body. The aroma has a lovely dried fruits scent with some spiced hints and chocolate notes, but it’s all more or less overpowered by some sweetish and sourish almost puke-like scents. The same is the problem with the flavor, where there’s also some alcohol. It’s full-bodied, warming and decently carbonated, quite sweet on the palate, but not cloying. Long finish with a tad much boozyness. They¨re onto something here, but they have a long way to go. 161228

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a pretty much clear dark amber with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet pruney, brown sugars, syrupy, lightly yeasty but overall pleasant. Rich body, again dark dried fruits, syrupy with some late, strong booze. Carbonation is to the low side. Very delicious actually. 210916
