Launched during the summer of 2014, Cisk Chill Berry immediately gained popularity amongst the new generation of beer drinkers. Due to its easy-drinking characteristics and particular sweet flavour and aroma, this red-coloured, bottom-fermented lager, has become the first choice for beer drinkers seeking to enjoy a refreshing beer to quench their thirst during the Malta summer heat.

Cisk Chill’s refreshing and fruity flavours make it especially delicious during the summer heat when complementing light salads and fish dishes. Due to its easy drinking characteristic it is perfect as an aperitif or dessert beer and even on its own whilst out with friends.

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is orange. Aroma and taste are berries, malt and little sugar. Nice and refreshing for a fruit beer.

Bottle from a local shoppe in St Julian’s. It pours blush pink with a small white head. The nose is sweet berry, artificial notes, candy, jam and white sugar. The taste is sweet, jammy fruits, berry, candy and not much beer character with a short dry finish. Lightish body and moderate carbonation. More like an alcopop than beer. Still I prefer this to the nasty lemon version.

Bottle. Pours slightly hazy rosé with airy but stable pinkish head. Clear aroma of strawberry jam and lozenges, with touches of malt. Sweet flavour of lozenges and jam, with bitter, hoppy and metallic notes, and touches of yeast. Estery and jamlike aftertaste. An OK thirst quencher but otherwise rather poor.
