Sample at the DBLDP on 09/02/2012: Dark reddish-brownish pour with a medium foamy light tan head that diminishes steadily. Short strings of lacing on the glass. The aroma consists of roasted nuts, malt and a touch of hops. Light to medium body with a roasty and briny character with notes of dank malt and herbal hops. The finish is short and malty.
