(Tap) clear, very bright dark orange amber colour with a small cream head; faint aroma of sournes, grain; balanced flavour with a long, light bitter finish

[1/30/17] Draught at Black Hammer Brewing in San Francisco. Amber. Malt, caramel, honey, a bit of alcohol, sweet, medium-bodied.

On tap at the brewery in sf. Clear deep amber , reddy brown coloured pour with a fading head. Aroma is sweet toffee apple, caramel, mineral. Flavour is composed of toffee and tangy apple, mineral, flabby. Palate is sweet, moderate carbonation, slight alcohol. No yeast character like a lot of these beers.
