Fruited Pale Ale w/Simcoe and Amarillo
This rosy pale ale arrives like a warm ray of sunshine on a cold fall day. A considerable dry-hop of Simcoe and Amarillo elevates the grapefruit to extraordinary levels, reminding us of summer brunch and picnics in the park.

(Tap sample @ the brewpub, Jan 13/18) Murky dark gold pour with a white head and lace. Notes are nearly bone dry and barely tart grapefruit flesh, citrus peels, grass, ample pith. Never really lifts off, finishing extremely dry and moderately bitter, a principally grapefruit zest and pith bitterness. Maybe this just doesn't quite fit at the time and place, but the grapefruit character was a little overwhelming and while it might have been quenching it was not something I'd drink in volume.
