(Tap) clear, bright brown amber colour with a small white head; rich aroma of caramel; creamy palate; balanced flavour with a long, light bitter finish

On tap in a flight at the brewery. Pours a clear, copper color, with an off-white head and good lacing. The nose is butterscotch, rye, pumpernickel, dust and earth, and allspice. Sweet flavor, with a light bitterness and a bit of rye spice. Light to medium body, sticky, and syrupy. This is a pretty solid beer, but with a bit of dank hoppiness that’s out of place.
