A variant of Ben’s Bitter Pale Ale, but hopped differently, dry-hopped, and fermented with a Farmhouse Ale yeast.
When we first brewed this beer Ben Doucet – now head brewer at 13 Barrels Brewing in Bathurst – was our only employee.
As a throwback to those early days, we brought Ben in again to help rebrew this rustic farmhouse ale, which has notes of peppercorn, ancient grains and nostalgia.
