Gypsy Lager is a Munich-style Helles brewed in the tradition of great German Lagers. Munich and Vienna malts provide a honeyed backbone that is contrasted with the clean bitterness of Perle Hops. The result is a crisp and refreshing beer.

Slightly hazy yellow color, tiny white head. Aroma is grainy with light fruityness and honey. Light-bodied. Honeyish sweetish malty flavor. Low bitterness. Crisp. Somehow doesn’t feel very "craftbeerish".

355ml bottle. Clear, orangey, faint golden colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Flat, grainy, widely vacant aroma, diluted hints of nectarine. Taste is slightly bitter hoppy, slightly metallic, cautious grainy background, diluted, unspecific fruitiness; light and watery.

On tap at Ramshead, Annapolis. A clear, golden beer with a dense, white head. Fruity aroma with a good dash of butterscotch. Grainy malts too. It’s medium bodied, quite dry, and with a soft carbonation. Butterscotch, lemony fruits and some bitterness in the flavor, long finish. Too much butterscotch going on here. 150621
