Another great beer. Enough Belgian influence to away me from my boredom of IPAs. Pours cloudy copper. Good head, good lacing. Floral hops on aroma with some sugarcane and booze. Some grapefruit astringency as well. Average carbonation. Finishes bitter. Tap at brewpub.

(650mL bottle from brewery, bottled Feb 4 2013 and consumed 20 days later) Pours a hazy orange with a bubbly, fluffy white head and loads of lace. Smells strongly of both hops and yeast. Citrus, catty, tropical fruit, bready yeast, spices. Flavour follows on, fresh tropical fruit, citrus, some sweet lighter malts, Belgian yeast, slight spice. Fades into medium hop bitterness, bit astringent with a fruity core lingering, slight booze when warm. Mouthfeel medium-full, oily, moderate effervescent carb. The hops and yeast characters really well balanced and complementary with strong fruitiness, more "Belgian" than most Belgian IPAs. Very good stuff.
