The appearance has a dark brown body, two finger white foamy head slowly dies leaving a decent amount of spider web foamy lacing.
The smell has a rich yet roasty nuttiness with some pecans showing up a bit, backed up sweetly by some chocolate and still slightly balanced by a nice coffee note.
The taste is mainly sweet but gives a decent roasty tone to the flavoring, slight nutty aftertaste, no finish.
The palate is about a light to medium, and sessionable. Carbonation is good for the style and for me, leaves a slight creamy sort of feel.
Overall, this is a good English Brown Ale, as that’s what comes across to me, unsure if this is what the brewer intended, but I didn’t get any hop bitterness anywhere throughout the entire growler, still I would have this again.

(tap) hazy dark brown colour with small brown head; roasty, fruity aroma; nutty, aweet flavour with long light bitter finish, probably the best brown ale I have ever had, perhaps because it is not a typical one - but a much nuttier and livelier
