Hazy amber beer with a thin filmy head. Aroma is a blend of hops. I can pick out some citric, grapefruity notes and some softer fruity smells too which I can’t quite pick out. Flavour is bitter and lemony though there’s an unfortunate, slight metallic edge to the backtaste. It doesn’t ruin an otherwise okay beer, though. It’s not one I’d rush back to but it has a good balance between the hops and a subtle maltiness. Unremarkable but alright.

Bottle @ home. Just got back from cycling 80 kilometers and I was hoping for a nice IPA to recover but immediately upon opening the bottle I knew this was not it. Hazy apple-juice golden color, rough white head that diminishes quickly. Aroma is lightly hoppy with a touch of sweetness and fruits. Taste lightly malts, some bitter, a slight fruity-sourish bitter undertone. Decent body and carbonation. Perhaps I opened it at the wrong moment and with too high expectations, but I just don’t really like it.

33 cL bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a small white and dense head. Aroma is mild peachy and slight grapefruity. Smooth fruity, light greasy and grapefruity to citrusy. Dry and bitter, lasting fruity finish.

Pours hazy golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, citrus, bubblegum and peach. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter with a long fruity finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle @ America Strikes Back, Ulfborg. Gusher. Pours cloudy light amber with enormous but airy off-white head. Clear aroma of fruit and flowers, with notes of hops. Fresh, sourish flavour of flowers and citrus, with hoppy notes and touches of malt. Bitter finish. Too funky for me. Neither an IPA nor an ESB if you ask me.

Pours hazy orange with a smooth head. Aroma of grainy malts, sweet notes, hints of hops. Taste is messy with hints of grainy malts, fruits and citrus. Finish is stuffy and mildly hoppy. Not very good.

Very foamy palate. Aroma has fruit candy. Flavour has grainy malt, some caramel, toffee and fruit candy. Rather unusual and definitely not your typical ESB. Enjoyable.
