16oz can c/o Ryan. Really not tasting like any "traditional" malt liquor at this point. Drinks like a Steel Reserve. Every sip is a reminder of its strength. Amber candi sugar saves it in a lot of ways. Vienna works well too. I guess a little Wheatwine-ish at times, if you want to be nice. Different I suppose, but hard to drink. Probably a lot cooler in a mock 40oz in a small bottle.

Can. Pours cloudy brownish dark yellow with a small creamy beige head, faint caramel aroma, low carbonation, bitter caramel malt taste with faint coffee taste, lightly sour, thin body, long finish with an alcohol kick at the end. Smooth and easy to drink despite the ABV.

Poured at Orange and Brew bottle share. A very dark amber color, quite hazy, with a nice head of foam, because this is a more recently packaged beer. A frankly strong malt liquor smell, like I'm expecting the Schlitz malt liquor bull to come breaking through a wall at any moment. Visually, it's brownish color may pass for a Yuengling lager, or a Sam Adams, is very strong. We have all gone through a period of swelling malt liquor, either behind the stadium in high school, or in college, and this takes me right back to it, even though I never really did that. An amped up beer taste, it could very easily go into headache territory, or fusel corn additions, but it stays right in the lane, very decent… for a malt liquor.
