In July 2024, the City of Alexandria will commemorate its 275th anniversary and celebrate all summer long. This milestone is not just a recognition of the past two centuries of progress, it also amplifies the shared experiences of our community and the collective achievements that have shaped Alexandria’s identity. In honor of this magnificent achievement, Port City has created a magnificent beer: ALX275 IPA, brewed with 275 pounds of hops in honor of 275 years of Alexandria. This commemorative brew is packed full with a variety of flavors, notably Cashmere, El Dorado, and Strata hops, for a bright and bitter brew.

Had this as just ALX, no 275 anywhere. I wonder if it's the same or of they just changed the name? Anyway, great hops here. Lots of pine and grapefruit. A little perfume. Golden clear pour with good head retention. Bitter end. Good body. Bottle.

Draft pour at the brewery. Poured a clear golden yellow color with a small white head. Aroma was tropical fruit candy, sweet, with a nice bitterness bite to it. Flavor was similar. Tasty stuff.
