We introduced our malty Dark Saison to freshly harvested French Oak Port Wine barrels. Allowing the beer and barrel to rest together for 7 months has brought forth aromas of candied figs, oaky tannins, clove and nutmeg, to a dark Saison already brimming with caramel, toffee, dried cherry and citrus aromatics. The result is a medium body coupled with a slightly sweet finish.
