The taste is sour smoke, chocolate and a little bit of juniper. Somewhat harsh finish.
Tastes a lot like Finnish Sahti.

Pours hazy brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, hint of smoke and floral. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle @ America Strikes Back, Ulfborg. Pours cloudy darkish amber with airy off-white head. Soruish aroma with faint smoky notes. Bitter, hoppy flavour, with notes of fruit and rather unpleasant touches of burnt plastic, especially towards the end. Slightly burning finish. Disappointing.

Bottle, 5.5%. Hazy dark amber/brown with small off-white head. Aroma is malt, fruit, caramel, smoke and a little meat. Flavour is malt, caramel,, toasted, smoke, medium sweet, spices and a little bitter.

Bottle. An unclear amber colored beer topped by a small, dense light beige head leaving curtains. There’s a whiff of smoke in the aroma, with caramel malts and a pleasant fruityness. Canned peaches. It’s a bit sweet I think with a good deal of fruityness. Some smoke and bitterness. Full body and a soft and perhaps a bit low carbonation level. Fruity, sweet and lightly smoked finish. Overall, quite nice, I especially like the smoke, but is too sweet and a bit dull. 140430

Shared bottle at Kinn-night with Espen Lothe at Mi2 at Cardinal 04.05.15. Brewed 03.01.14. Unclear dark amber. Pale beige persitent and dense head and lacing. Aroma of smoked malt, vanilla and a bit of hop. Subdued smoke in taste, balanced by moderate bitterness and caramel sweetness. Well drinkable.
