500 ml can. Clear, pale golden body with a small white head. Aroma is malty the way a decent macro lager use to be, no more than less. Flavor is ditto, light malty, hint of caramel and low grassy bitterness. Medium to thin body and short in aftertaste. Had it pretty cold after a ski session when I was rather thirsty. It sure did the job, but there is really noting here that stands out from any other decent industrial lager. Totally drinkable if this is what you want, but the bullshit on the label about innovative microbrewery etc. just piss me off. If Arendals Bryggeri are trying to be something they’re not, at least do it with the beer itself – not the text on the label. This feels just another Lade Gård kind of fake, even if Saw Dust City exist.
