Bottle. It’s an almost black one, topped by a small, dense, light tan head. Licorice, roasted malts, coffee grit, dark chocolate and some pleasant hoppyness. Roasted malts, licorice, coffee grit and bitterness in the mouth. It’s full-bodied and lightly warming in the mouth, with a bit too soft carbonation. Lasting roasted and bonfire-ish finish. Quite nice this one, but it could use a tad more punch. 150524

Bottle, 8.1%. Slightly metallic aroma along with a faint piney hop note. Black colour. Good stable brown head. The flavour starts off smokey, but also a little yeasty and wheaty. Later comes a creamy note, some coffee, and then more floral aroma hop. Late liquorice finish, slightly salty. Quite low carbonation, almost too low for me.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a deep, opaque black with a small, light brown head. Slightly greasy roast aroma. Surprisingly light-bodied, almost watery. Some harsh, ashy roast and a malty bitter finish. Doesn’t feel 8% at all. 301014

Bottle shared at a tasting at Dancing Camel Florentin. Thanks Hansen & Zita for this bottle! Black with a light brown head. Roasty aroma with some coffee, yeast and mild hoppiness. Roasty and hoppy flavor, slightly "green", bittersweetish, with an acidic note and a bitterish finish. Medium-bodied.
