[ As Liberation Herm Island Gold ].Clear medium orange yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, marzipan malt, light bread - grass - vegetables. Flavour is moderate sweet with a long duration, sweet malt, light bread - marzipan malt, vegetabel notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20140829]

Bottle. It’s a clear, golden beer with a finger-thick off-white head that lasts. The aroma is lighlty bready, with fruity, citrusy hops and some melon. Grass and pine cones. The flavor has a touch of bitterness, with too much bready caramel. Pine cones, grass and some resiny hints. Medium body with a pleasant carbonation level. Bitter and fruity finish with a bready maltyness. A boring and too malt forward beer, lacking on hops to balance it. 140829

Bottle from Coop Grand Marché, St. Helier. The beer starts smooth, "golden", fresh. Like a golden ale should be. The mainpart has hints of grain, slightly bitter, sweetish golden ale characteristics. The aftertaste is smooth, sweetish, not too deep and slightly bitter!
