The Gorch is a classic west coast Pale Ale. Some might call it a session IPA. We like to think of it as a properly hopped Pale Ale. Hopped with classic American hops: Simcoe, Amarillo, Citra and Columbus. Grapefruit, citrus, stonefruit and pine.

The beer is a pale amber ish yellow. Fairly hazy. White head of fine foam. Some lacing. The aroma has some nice, classic hop flavors. Grapefruit, tangerine, pine, a little pineapple, some peach. Fairly juicy. Just a tiny bit of crackery pale malt character. Taste has moderate bitterness. It’s medium dry. Good hop flavor comes through. Very refreshing. Light feel. Easy to drink. Not the most interesting hop choices for Cellarmaker but it’s very solid and well made.
