Can. Mostly clear deep brown with a huge tan head. Aroma of cocoa and a bit of coffee. The flavor is lightly sweet and a bit nutty but not much here.

12oz bottle from Indiana. Filtered brown-amber body. Foamy, steady, off-white head. Not that enjoyable of an aroma. Drinks sort of like a cheapish Dunkel or Schwarzbier at times, but has a little more of a nutty, toffee edge I suppose. Pretty one dimensional, but drinkable in a pinch, and reasonable at $5.99 a six pack.

bottle - Pours a medium brown color and smells of toasted caramel malt. It has a medium body and a robust toasted caramel malt flavor with a mild hops presence. There’s a toasted malt finish and overall it’s a very good brown ale.

Pour is a brown with a small white head. Aroma is a nice mix of roasted nut malt with a bit of chocolate malt. Flavor is again a nice roasted malt to start and then in comes some chocolate and a small touch of coffee bitterness. This was pretty good as far as brown ales go. Decent heavy mouthfeel with a nice malty backbone.
