Brewed with our good friend Curt from Voodoo Brewing in Western Pensylvania. Loaded with Galaxy and Amarillo hops to create a unique blend of citrus, passionfruit, pine, kiwi fruit, and more. Massively dry hopped for huge aromatics and a dry finish to increase drinkability. Hops to the dome!

Pours a light amber gold color. Darker than most of Cellarmaker’s hoppy stuff but still on the paler end of the DIPA spectrum. Small white head. Growler pour might be affecting that. Little lacing. The aroma is sweet and hoppy. Peaches, white grape juice, pine, some tangerine. There’s some malt sweetness, gets a bit bubblegum-ish. A touch of booze. The taste has a lot of hop flavor but is a bit harsher than I’ve come to expect from Cellarmaker. Lots of that peachy, white grape juice hop flavor. Fairly dank. Big pine note with a dose of resin. More bitterness than expected. Some citrus pith. A bit boozy but not bad for 9% abv. It’s still fairly subdued but there’s more malt charater than I’m used to in their beers. Pretty standard carbonation, maybe a bit low. A touch of hop oiliness. Finish is a bit harsh with booze and bitterness. Good DIPA but probably the weakest of the hoppy stuff on recently. It’s more of an old school, punchy hop DIPA. It’s hard to call it disappointing because the beer is still quite good, but my standards for this brewery’s hoppy offerings have gotten a bit ridiculous.
