Route 1 is a session IPA, noted for its hop forward flavor and low alcohol content. Possessing a subtle malt presence, the smoothness of this ale makes it easy to lather, rinse, and repeat as needed.

355ml bottle. Hazy, orangey golden colour with small to average, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Slightly sugary, caramel malty aroma with a touch of almond, citrusy hoppy overtones with hints of mandarine, orange, lemon zest. Taste is bitter hoppy, slightly citrusy minimally zesty and soapy, bitter orange notes, low-key pale malty basis, lemon juice finish.

12 fl. oz. bottle. Pours slightly hazy orange golden colour with a mid-sized off-white head. Aroma of mild hops, riped red fruits, caramel. Taste of dry red malt, bitter hops, resins, nothing special.

On tap at Ramshead, Annapolis, MD. A hazy, dark golden beer with a dense, off-white head of finger-thick size. Almost butterscotch in the nose, but it’s more like heavy toffee. Bread, raisins and some grass too. It’s medium to full-bodied and dry on the palate. Toffee, bread, dark dried fruits and some grassy, bitter hops in the flavor. Resiny finish. Too malty this one, far from what I’d describe as a Session IPA, but it’s a decent brew anyway. 150621

Bottle 35,5 cl. Pours an almost clear amber with a creamy, beige head. Vague, citrusy nose. Light body, some caramel notes but dominated by solid hops although more bitter than aromatic. A slight underlying tartness, but not in an infected way. 010715

bottle from kihoskh, hazy golden, offwhite head. nice us bitter hoppy aroma, also a good dose of malts, clearly more bitter than flowery, dry, not sweet, quenching, not cloying. Flavor is bitter hoppy, us hops but not very flowery, good malty base, very tasty and the flavors match well. for a 4.5% this beer is outright fantastic.
