draft at the brewpub - Pours a dark yellow that’s the first clue this isn’t like most doppelbocks. It has a very small white head. The aroma is mild bready malt and a little alcohol. The bartender said the abv was about 8%. The flavor is very sweet bready malt with a touch of fruit esters. It’s full bodied and finishes sweet and alcoholic. Pretty good.
