Assistant Brewer Bryan Culbertson designed this American-style IPA to match his vision for the perfect beer. It has 4 types of hops (Magnum, Columbus, Cascade, dry-hopped with Northern Brewer) to give it a complexity of hop character. The slightly amber color and smooth creamy texture add a delightful dimension to this masterpiece of a beer.

brewpub sampler - For ABV, this one’s on the line between IPA and double IPA, but at 7.7% and 80 IBUs, I’ll go with the latter. It pours a lightly hazy copper with a long lasting, white head. There’s a nice citrus hops aroma. The flavor is of course intensely hopped but there’s some good malt holding it up. I really thought the malt profile tasted just like the Elwood’s IPA. What we’ve got is a hopped up version. It’s very good though doesn’t make it into great for the style.
