Stone Fruit Lager
After the initial hit of apricot and mango subsides, you will notice the complexities of a big and robust Pilsner at the foundation. Continental bottom-fermenting yeast gives the unmistakeable lager characteristics, clean of sulphur after 6 weeks of cold conditioning, but rich in in the esters and phenols that hint at not-so-distant Belgian relatives.

Pours yellow straw, white head that quickly subsides A - Not much aroma, hints of over ripe fruit F - slightly fake tasting and cloying mango and peach with a not very inspiring dry bready finish. After the sweetness of the fruits it needs something more like their description of a, big and robust pilsner to finish. Not great.
