From cask at The Dog & Bell in Deptford, London, 08.03.22. Ebony. Fine white head and lacing. Convincing aroma and taste of liquorice, roasted malt and a hint of tar. Balanced with moderate bitterness. Tasty! Appropriately uncarbonated.

v dark brown with dark beige head that quickly subsides. Quite a light body with a slight chocolate bitter finish. Its ok, just seems to be lacking a bit of something.

Jet black with a tan head. Aroma of coffee oats. Flavour is dusty chocolate, chewy oat. Ash and smoke on the base, dry roast finish.
