A Northwest twist on a German-style baumbier: this golden wheat beer is brewed with Western cedar tips. It is a light, refreshing, zippy beer to celebrate the high point of summer.

Baum? Boom? Bum! Disappointing. Light sweet aroma with some cedar. Woody taste that just fell off the table. Almost no finish

[2/26/15] Draught at Breakside Brewery in Portland. Cloudy yellow-golden. Candy-ish aroma with bubblegum, fruits and cedar wood. Very woody flavor with lots of cedar, some candy and sweetish fruitiness. Medium-bodied. Nice and interesting.

Bottled. An unclear amber beer with a huge yellowish head. The aroma has notes of eggs, lemons, straw, cedarwood, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of cedarwood, straw, and lemons, leading to a dry finish. Thanks pinball for sharing.

Bottle 35,5 cl. Courtesy of Pinball. Pours a cloudy golden with an off-white head leaving a discreet lacework. Very interesting aroma - very far from other cedar beers I’ve tried, a little bubblegum too. Light body, heavy carbonation, an odd spiciness, dryish fruity, coconut and bubblegum. Subdued bitterness. Very different. 140113
