A clear, dark amber colored beer with a dense, two-finger beige head leaving curtains. Nail polish, some toffee and dried fruits in the aroma. Some nuts and a touch of sourness. It’s full-bodied and lightly warming on the palate, with a pleasant carbonation level. Semi-sweet. Roasted malts, some coffee grit and dark chocolate in the flavor, some bitterness towards the finish. Not very good this one, but it has some qualities. 140829

Draft - Roast malts, bit of chocolate and a bit of hops in the background. Jet brown with a good light brown head. Up front hops and bitterness followed by the roast. Not bad but not as cohesive as others.
