50 cl bottle @ Timo A, BBE 27.06.2017
Aroma is musty with bush leaves and some cereal-like malt. Flavour has cereal, bush leaves and some toffee. There’s even some notes of contamination. Not good.

Bottled, from Landbierparadies. Hazy nut brown, small head. Fruity caramelly nose. Sweetish with light-medium body and clean, oily mouthfeel. Sticky buttery caramel, notes of lemon. Low bitterness. Simplistic and sticky, sub par malt character. Not a beer I would expect to find in Franconia.

Herb würziger Antrunk, mild süß, geringfügig malzig. Im Mittelteil herb bleibend, süffig, zum Ende aber trockener. Ok. 11/11/9/9/9/9

Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass zippy, dark, nice head. Starts mild, modest roasty-malty. Some nutty hints. More and more spicy. Finish well balanced, quite drinkable. Nice!

Bügelverschlußflasche: Hazy, reddish - indeed - and amber coloured, small, rather quickly collapsing off-white head; sweetish dark malty nose with delicate traces of toasted malts, shy herbal hops in the background; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, quite soft, more light than medium bodied; sweetish malty to caramelly finish, hops harly detectable. Nothing wrong with it, but not my cup of tea…
