Flat12 American Wit is quintessentially an American version of a traditional Belgian-style Wit beer. It’s a summer wheat beer that’s light and tart with the spice and zest of coriander and orange peel. Flat12 chose to forego the cloudiness of a traditional Wit beer because this style is a great warm weather thirst quencher. We figured it would be good to brighten ours up, after all, who wants summer to be cloudy. ABV: 5.4% IBU: 23.1

tap at the brewery (5.0% abv in my notes) - This lightly hazy brew has an aroma of wheat and citrus with mild hops. The flavor is light with mild hops bitterness that balances the sweetness well and some spice. It’s somewhat more bitter than most wheat ales and is light bodied and refreshing.
