Full-bodied, deep reddish-brown and malty, with a hint of toastiness and slightly sweet finish. Higher in alcohol content (8.2% abv), it is dangerously drinkable.

draft at the Fishers, IN brewpub - I hesitate to add this one as the brewery already has several Scottish ales in the system, but I’m pretty confident my notes are correct and they’re at least calling this one a new name. It pours dark amber with a thin head. The aroma is mainly rich malt and there’s a touch of alcohol. The flavori s sweet caramel malt with dark fruit notes. It’s medium bodied with the sweetness carrying right into the finish and a touch of alcohol lingering on the palate.
