Bottled at Petalax Beer Festival. Cloudy golden, small head. Fruity nose. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Fruity with some caramel and horse radish. Some underlying spices in a finish with low bitterness.

Bottle. It pours a slightly cloudy golden body under a small, persistant, off-white head. The aroma has some typical saison notes, a light fruityness, a touch of yeast and pepper, and in addition there’s some herbal notes I recognize as wasabi, only it’s more herbal and pea-like. The flavor is too herbal, in a slightly harsh way, with some malty sweetness underneath the saison-ish fruityness and peppery touch. Full body and a pleasant carbonation level. Lasting finish with a wasabi burn in the very end, lasting for a good while. And that little burn, that’s in my opinion the best part of the beer. Sure drinkable, and it helps getting closer to the bottom, but I ain’t gonna repeat it. Twice is enough. 141111

Duft av banan, leverpostei og krydder. Dunkel gulbrun farge. Tyn hinne hvitt skum, heng langs kant.

Uvanlig - men i heftigste laget. Litt syrlig bitterhet observert før krydret overtok helt.
