Location: Draft at O.H.S.O., 3/8/14

Aroma: It has a nice resiny/pine aroma, with some nice citrus, and some spice notes
Appearance: This one pours a clear golden color with a nice white head on it
Flavor: The taste is much the same, with a big hoppy bitterness, and a clean hop finish
Palate: The body is medium-plus, it has a clean feel, and a nice, dry finish
Overall Impression: This was another really tasty beer from Dragoon. It wasn't quite as good as their Red IPA, but it was a heck of a beer. Excluding the much ballyhooed Wilderness (which totally lived up to the hype), I think Dragoon may have been the Arizona brewery that impressed me to the most on my trip.

Draft - Pine and skunk. Clear gold with a thick white head. Piney and skunky with a nice balance of bitterness. Reminds me of Green Flash, which is a good thing.

Tap at OHSO. Pours Amber with puffy head. Nose is big citrus. Tastes of juicy grapefruit, very resinous, caramel, and some spruce. Quite bitter but very tasty and drinkable. Well carbonated and nice lingering palate. I was beat from hiking in heat but this brought me back to life

A translucent golden amber ale with a thin white head. In aroma, classic biscuit malt with floral hops, orange pulp, very nice. In mouth, good biscuit malt with loads of resinous and catty hops, grapefruit pulp, alcohol warmth, almost in DIPA territory.

Sample at GABF 10/13/2012, thanks to Bluemeow76 for assistance with note-taking. Golden-orange color with a medium off-white head and stringy lacing. Aroma of hops, pine and malt. Medium-bodied with a moderately bitter resiny hops character with notes of malt and fruit in the background. The finish is hoppy with a fruity aftertaste. Above average overall.

Poured up on tap at Papago with brilliantly clear gold body and a tight nitro pour looking tan head leaving behind sheet lacing. The mild aroma offers up some light citrus and faint spicy hops. The taste has a good bit of bitter citrus hops tempered by some malt sweetness and then joined by lesser amounts of grapefruit and somewhat lime like hop flavor midway and into the finish. This is fresh and crisp with plenty of hoppy goodness to go around flavor wise but the nose is on the meek side for the style.
