Small cream-coloured head, soon reduced to rim over fully hazy brown beer. Melanoidins, brown bread with a sprinkle of brown sugar, dark malts. Dark malts reign with lots of restsugars. Bit of wood, bit of chocolate, and a drier finish. Medium bodied at least. Very carbonated, slick, going towards chewy. Uber-classic sweet dubbel, with, again a hint of homebrew.

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is dried fruits with raisins, brown malt, caramel, plum, and spicy yeast. Medium sweet flavour with a light bitterness and a hint of sourness. Medium body. Pretty heavy on the dried fruit, sweet with a slight tangy touch. Okay.

Clear brown colour with lasting head. Very malty and sweet. Also has a tanginess like red fruits giving it a slight sweet sour note.

33cl bottle bought in Belgium. A almost clear reddish brown beer with a off-white head. Aroma of raisins, red fruts, caramel. Taste of raisins, caramelish malt, spices, plums, toffee.

Clear dark brown color with a average, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, moderate to light heavy yeasty, belgium yeast, riped fruit. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, belgium yeast, roasted - caramel, sweet fruit - riped fruit, dark fryut, dried fruit. Body is medium, texture is oily - creamy, carbonation is soft. [20140729]

Bottle shared with Dutchdrebus and Ansjelaah. Brown color, medium sized off - white head. Smell and taste malts, lightly sweet, raisins. Hmm...don’t really like this really. Average to medium body and carbonation.
